Gear Rinse-N-Ride T1 Foot Pool Another Good Idea! |
Everyone needs a foot pool in transition to rinse the sand off of their feet before putting on their cycling shoes. Nothing is worse than having a bunch of grunge (sand, dirt, mud, pebbles, etc.) on your feet in your cycling shoes and then transferring that same grunge to your running shoes. Now, for only $10.00, you can have the most convenient foot pool available.
Rinse-N-Ride's T1 foot pool is an 11" diameter and 5" deep inflatable pool that you can easily inflate and fill with water. After your race, just toss out the water, deflate and put back in the handy carrying bag. Then the T1 easily fits in your tri bag and is ready for your next race.
What I like about the T1 is both its low cost and ease of use. Moreover, it doesn't take a lot of water to get it deep enough to rinse your feet. Finally, rinsing your feet in transition takes only 2 - 3 seconds, but pays big dividends the rest of the race.
You can buy the T1 foot pool directly via Rinse-N-Ride.com's web site. When you do so, you will be dealing with Scott Tucker, a very courteous and professional fellow triathlete.
