After swimming, biking or running workouts I'm always soaking wet.  If I didn't start from the house or gym, then I have to get in my car immediately after my workout.  Yes, that means I'm still soaking wet.  Nothing is worse for car seats then being constantly soaked with water or sweat.  Many people use a towel, but it never fits right, it soaks through quickly and has to be washed immediately after use.

For a heavy sweater like me, keeping my car seat dry after workouts or races is a constant problem.  In my last car, I bought two-piece, form fitting, neoprene seat covers.  The problem with those is that they were a pain to put on and cost $250.00.  I sold that car and bought a new truck that didn't offer a similar cover.  Therefore, an add in the back of one of the tri magazines for Seat Shield caught my eye.  After studying the web site, I decided to try the UltraSport seat cover.

In short, I think the UltraSport cover is an outstanding product at an outstanding price.  It looks good, goes on in seconds, keeps the seat completely dry, is thin enough to fold up and store anywhere in your car and doesn't have to be washed after every use.   For $5.00 more, you can buy the non-slip version.  The UltraSport does slide easily on my leather seats, but not enough to bother me.  I'm now going to order a seat belt cover for $9.95 to keep the belt dry too.
